Where can SEED Homes be placed?
On rural land, remote sites and traditional residential lots. Placement requirements vary by local zoning and permitting, so check with your local planning department first.
Are SEED Homes built for extreme weather?
Yes. They are engineered for hurricane-force winds, heavy snow loads, hail and fire exposure, with high-performance insulation, steel framing and fire-resistant materials.
Can a SEED Home be off-grid?
Many models support off-grid living through solar readiness and the SEED water-gathering system.
What warranty is included?
Every home includes a 20-year exterior finish warranty. Warranties for systems such as solar and smart-home components are provided by their manufacturers.
What certifications do SEED Homes have?
SEED Homes are built by certified manufacturing partners using CSA A660-10 and CSA A277 certified processes. The homes are patent pending.
How long does a build take?
It depends on the model and level of customization. A Customer Advisor can estimate a timeline for your configuration.
What do “foldable” and “double fold” mean?
Some models have foldable walls that allow compact transport and expansion on site. That increases interior space and simplifies shipping and installation.
What's included as standard?
Steel construction, high R-value insulation, sustainably sourced interior finishes, large windows, vaulted ceilings, fire-resistant materials, smart-home readiness and near-zero exterior maintenance.
Can I customize my home?
Yes. Finishes, energy systems and select layout features can be customized, depending on the model. A Customer Advisor can explain what's available.
Do SEED Homes qualify for financing?
Financing depends on your location, model and lender. Options can include traditional mortgages, modular home loans and land-and-home packages. A financing partner can help you find the best fit.
Is delivery included?
Delivery depends on your location, site conditions and model. Foldable designs help with efficient shipping. A Customer Advisor can outline delivery and placement costs for your address and site access.
How do I get started?
Explore the models and their specifications, contact a SEED Advisor to find your match, then submit a $100 deposit to reserve your place in the manufacturing queue. Your home is built, shipped and delivered to your site.
